![]() Why We Like Lists
Lists imply order. Lists suggest that, with the help of a few bullets and sub-categories, we can make neat logic out of chaos.
There's nothing we love more than devising long, intricate, multi-tiered lists -- shopping lists for an upcoming trip, itineraries, goals, outlines of best-selling novels.
Then, of course, we stray. Careening off the list is as important as creating it.
So, although the lists below are impressive, don't think they're in any way complete.
